So since we are already almost 7 months into 2010, I figured it was about time to post something and also catch up on everyones blogs. Where to start...

In April we went on a cruise for our 2 year anniversary to Catalina Island and Ensenada, Mexico. It was chilly, but super fun!

The best friend I could ever ask for :) 2 years with him has been wonderful!

We got a cat (technically in 2009) his name is Indy and he is adorable :) These are pics of him when we first got him and now.

He's super sweet and loves to be cuddled and brushed. He also likes to sleep with us in-between our heads, he sometimes caresses our faces when we're sleeping.

I've become obsessed with Glee! I love everything about it and listen to the soundtracks non-stop... (poor josh) Lea Michelle (also know as Rachel Barry) Is AMAZINGLY talented!

Lately we've been surrounded by babies and pregnant women.. which makes for a baby crazy Noelle :/ At one point 7 of my friends and family were pregnant.. Some of them have now had their babies.

Scooters

So Josh and I have had these scooters now for about 2 months I think... They are tons of fun besides the fact that people like to drive by and laugh at us b/c of our matchy matchy scooters and helmets :) We don't drive them as much as I would like, but the occasional drive to work or to return a Redbox movie is refreshing. I've now come to realize that Im not the biggest fan of driving myself around (I'd rather be on the back of whatever Josh is driving) So we're considering selling these and getting him another motorcycle.. A little scary considering what happened with the last one :/ Anyways just a little update while I'm at work :) ttyl.

Sooooooooo its been awhile! We've been somewhat busy and I've been somewhat lazy... Okay, completely lazy. Not a ton new, we moved to Pleasant Grove about a month ago and we have 2 new roommates. My sister Dionne and Josh's mom Amy. Its definately been an adjustment going from most of the day being alone (with josh at work AND school-hes amazing!) to now having someone there everytime I turn the corner. I am starting to learn patience though, I just feel bad for Josh having to be surrounded by women!

Josh's birthday was on the 26th of April and for his birthday, I suprised him with a ticket to Minnesota! Well a ticket to Minnesota- then an 8 hour drive to Canada with my dad and some guys from the ward there. They're going to be camping on a remote island with no bathrooms or cell service (What am I going to do- I won't be able to TALK to him for a week!) but I think it will be an awesome experience for Josh, anything to make my love happy!

It was really fun today, we were able to get together with some of Josh's old (but good) friends from Payson. We went to a Tibetan place called Cafe Shambala, SO good! It was good company. I always enjoy learning more about the people and experiences of Josh's past. Well After lunch, Josh and I went and bought Scooters! It made me alittle nervous, but I drove it straight out of the parking lot and home (about a mile distance on STATE st!) When I actually take some pics, I will post them!

So on the 12th of April (also Easter) Josh and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary! We didn't really do anything special, just being together was enough. But we feel especially blessed at this time to be together and still so happy! Hes such an amazing man and husband and friend. I honestly couldn't have picked a better man to spend my life/eternity with!

Sorry to make this such a long blog, I'm sure I could've done a few more paragraphs but I will spare you from having to take an hour reading my blog. We're so grateful for our families and friends that make our day to day lives SO wonderful!

So we got this tiger woods golfing game for the ps3 and it has this AWESOME feature called photo game face where you can upload your pic and it will make you your own guy on the game. Well Josh's worked so good that it still creeps me out! Here is the pic we used and the one the game made.

So my friend Lindley called me when she was about 30 minutes from Provo, and said her husband was coming for some Mechanical Engineering thing and had some time so I went up and met with her and we had lunch, and it was an extra fun lunch b/c Andrea and Katelyn were there too! It was awesome to catch up with them considering it has been quite some time... :) But here is a pic from like 2005? Maybe 2004. It was the New Years Eve Dance and we all got ready together! So Its been awhile, obviously since my last post was on Thanksgiving :) Well Christmas was great! I got everything that I wanted! Also, my birthday was wonderful.. I got Anne of Green Gables! We went out to dinner with my family to PF Changs. YUM. Here are some pics (compliments of Dionne's facebook)

Before my birthday Josh and I went to Temple Square with Mike and Kindra which was way fun! (and freezing)

Last but not least, we went to VEGAS!! last weekend with Tyler and Amy and it was SOOO much fun. Josh and I are so grateful to have gotten the opportunity to go! Here are some of the pictures from our trip!

Happy Thanksgiving!!!!

So we spent this thanksgiving with Josh's family this year (Miss you Tiff!) It was a lot of fun and a lot of food!! Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays mainly because it makes you sit down and think about the many many things we're thankful for in this life. Here is a list of some of the things Josh and I are thankful for. (In no particular order)

A safe home to live in for a great price.
Our temple marriage.

Slagowski Family December 2007 - - Missing babies Akira, Amara, and Shaylie

So I made Creamy Fresh Fruit Pie for thanksgiving and it was SOOO good!

1 9-inch pie crust or graham cracker crust
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
3/4-1 c. sugar

2 t. Vanilla
2 c. Heavy cream, whipped.
2 c. thinly sliced fruit (strawberries, peaches, raspberries, bananas, etc.)

*Bake and cool pastry shell. Set aside.
*Beat together cream cheese, sugar and vanilla. Whip cream separately. Fold or beat them together. Spread into baked pastry shell. Cover & Refrigerate. May be made 1 day in advance. Just before serving, cover the top with fruit.

**** I added a little bit of powdered sugar to make it a little sweeter.

New Car!

So I got a new car (Well, I will technically have it in my possession tomorrow) Yay! But seriously... dealing with the car dealership guy made me exhausted.. So if I ever think about getting another, please remind me of my VW Beetle experience :) But its suuuper cute so I can't wait for it to be parked in my parking lot.

The interior is all leather... so nice! and in way good condition.

Halloween!!!

Halloween was SO fun! And I cannot believe how warm it was.. didn't even need a jacket! We spent the evening with Josh's family and our friends Mike and Kindra.. We went trick or treating with his nieces and nephew.. they're so sweet. SO here are some pictures from halloween and from a family party.

Counting Our Blessings....

So today we are counting our blessings. Yesterday morning Josh was in a pretty bad motorcycle accident. Thankfully, Josh is okay... He walked away with a broken wrist and a few scratches. I guess a truck cut him off when he was on his way to work forcing him to slam on his breaks and fly off the bike @ 45 mph. It was quite scene, Josh said there was a firetruck, ambulance and police... the whole Sha-Bang :) SO I woke up afraid to see that I had missed 13 calls! (my phone was on silent) Couldn't believe it. So when I finally called him he was already at the hospital and ready for me to come pick him up. My poor baby! All I could think about all day was how if he wouldn't have been wearing exactly what he was (winter coat, jeans AND snowboarding pants, gloves, and a helmet) He could've been alot worse off. We just feel very blessed and grateful for what we have.

Heyyyyy! So I have a feeling the warm days of this year will soon to be no more... So yesterday we decided to drive up the mountain and catch the beautiful colors before they die out. We went up to sundance first and walked around then we drove through the rest of the mountain. Last year we carved are initials in a tree so we found it again... the funny thing is, when we saw the tree.. we saw that the day we originally put it there was october 19th.. so that would be today! Almost exactly 1 year later. (That wasn't planned) But yea.. last night my friend Amanda and I decided to have some fun with Fiona and dressed her up in some jewelry.

So we went to MN at the end of last month, it was great to get away for a little trip. We did all the "Touristy" stuff like Mall of America, Minnesota State Fair, and Valley Fair. The weather was AWESOME! I just can't believe we left Utah when it was 90 degrees and got back to 59 degrees! Josh was able to have some of my mom's amazing meals that i've talked about so often... and he now swears that our trip expanded his stomach :)

We've now been married for almost 5 months and it has been wonderful! I can't believe its gone by so fast...! Josh is still in school and working at the same place.. I worked my last day at Home Depot last week! I started a nanny job in August watching 2 girls, 7 and 5. The mom also just had twin girls and they are SO cute! But I gotta go get ready for work!! So I hope everyone is doing well!

So I'm not sure who all we've told, but we got a new kitten named Fiona. I found her under register 4 at Home Depot... She was pretty skiddish at first but has turned out to be a wonderful addition to our family! Every morning I wake up she is SO excited to see me (Mostly to eat :)) and she LOVES to sleep.. Thats our kind of cat.. LAZY!

So today was a WONDERFUL Sunday :) The weather was hot. We went to Church then to Riverton to see baby Amara. It was fun to see Josh's family and play some Grand Theft Auto. I called home today and talked to Isabelle my sweet sweet niece.. When I told her we were coming at the end of the summer she said "I LOVE that!" SO it will be exciting to see her :) So as of right now, we are completely caught up on LOST.. waiting for the 5th season to start..hopefully it will make sense sometime soon. Heroes is our new fav..! So the 4th of July was fun, we went and watched fireworks with Paul and then lit off our own fireworks.. its funny how much stuff you can do with those things. So ours days pretty much consist of work and school these days, when were not there, we're at home or on Josh's bike! We went up the Canyon the other day and cooked Hot dogs... that was fun besides the fact that I burned my ankle on his bike :( But yea, its almost bed time....so g'night to all my fans! (Becky:)

Been Awhile....

So it will be 3 months on the 12th! Its been absolutely wonderful :) I can't imagine being with anyone more perfect for me. But putting the "gushy" stuff aside, Josh started school about a month ago at Stephens Henager College.. and hes really been enjoying it. Hes also working at a place called Foundation Systems Inc. where he does tech support for pharmacies. I will be hitting my 2 year mark at Home Depot in September... (definately feels longer) and I'm currently looking for a new job, I would like to do some time of clerical work.. So we'll see what happens :) We're planning a trip to MN from Aug 27th to Sept 1st and we're way excited..! I can't wait to show Josh the beautiful green of MN.. and also show him the dog-sized mosquitos! Josh's sister in law Jenn had a beautiful little baby on the 1st of July.

Upcoming Wedding...!

So with 40 LONG days left until the big day, both Josh and I are getting super anxious but feel very excited! We have the colors picked, the flowers, cake, and food figured out.. So thanks to my mom, a big load off of my shoulders. My dress is in the middle of alterations, and our invitations will be done tonight and ready to be addressed this week. We feel very blessed to have met each other and to feel the way we do. We know that it won't be super easy (as people LOVE to tell us) but we are both willing to work to be together and be happy. We're in the process of finding an apartment right now, something here in American Fork hopefully so we can be close to both of our jobs, we keep this updated on that. Well, I don't know who actually reads these but that is the "Skuddle-Bud" with Josh and I. :)
